Rosie Swale-Pope MBE - author, adventurer and marathon runner - will be speaking for the benefit of Sustrans next week.
Rosie is the only person in history, man or woman, to have undertaken an epic solo, unsupported run around the world - over 20,000 miles facing extreme danger, bitter Siberian winters, wolves, axe-men and desolate loneliness over nearly five years.
She raised £250,000 for charity and highlighted the importance of early diagnosis of prostate cancer, following the death of her husband.
Rosie's other achievements include sailing single-handedly across the Atlantic in a small boat, and trekking 3,000 miles alone through Chile on horseback.
When and where:

Doors open 6 p.m. and the talk starts 6.30 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
